Wonderful old fashion hamburgers

Not sure what happened!! We used to love Swanners!! Called in order and they forgot our fries and onion rings, so had to sit and wait for them. Should have just left them though, no salt and tasted like old grease. Got the full order of onion rings and there was about six all smushed together. Hamburger was worst I have ever had from Swanners. Burger was terribly dry and tasted like it had no seasoning. Maybe I will try it again later.

I just love their Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries...fries never make it home on takeout order. Friendly at home service. 😍😍😍😍

Swanner's was a nice locally owned restaurant where ther owner was on - site and working. He came out to talk to and thank each of his customers for being there. It was a nice hometown feel. The food was ok. We just stopped in for a quick bite to eat - just passing through.

Great food and owners Mom makes the visit better every time!

I was disappointed. My hamburger had a very thin patty but was overloaded with lettuce. They have been much better in the past.

Burgers are big, and fried pickles had little breading the way I like them. Fried okra was yummy too. Awesome food so far.

Excellent hamburger onion rings and chocolate pie. Prices are reasonable. We fed 6 people got less than $50.

Passing through and stopped here for a burger. DELICIOUS cheeseburger! The fries were tolerable but I didn't even want them. The burger was big and stacked with fresh veggies. The best part was the customer service. Very very nice man took my order!:o)

The Ladies there are excellent and the food is great.

After trying to order there a few times now. I give up it's wrong every time. We will not be going back. What a shame they just can't get it together.

First time to eat here in a few years. Son and I went for lunch. The menu is still on a dry erase board but I didn't see prices posted anywhere except the price for the day's special. I ordered a cheeseburger with all the veggies and crinkle cut fries and he had a double cheeseburger plain and crinkle cut fries and a drink each for $24. We both enjoyed our burgers but neither of us cared for the fries. The fries were small and crunchy and tasted like old cooking oil. I will go back because I do like to support local businesses.

Swanner's use to have the best burgers but after eating there today, I was very disappointed. Not the same at all. Service was not good either.

Best burger in East Texas and great pies.

Delicious local place and very laid back atmosphere. Not exactly winning any culinary awards but hits the spot if you want it. Did need a little tlc in the bathroom though.

Great, old fashioned burgers in a diner that is to match. It has a definitive old school vibe. It could use a little work but nothing so major as to take away from the experience. Staff is friendly and the food is made fresh, quickly too.

This place did not live up to its stars. Average dry burgers with less than average flavorless fries. Extremely overpriced for the low quality of a burger. Only thing good about it was the bun. I thought this place was good when I was little but we probably won't be returning.
